We are happy to welcome you. We offer two rooms which are accessible with wheelchairs. They are not TÜV-certified rooms, but we do our best to make your stay comfortable.
We do have an elevator. You can enter the hotel with wheelchair from the parking lot in the back of our hotel

The smoke-free hotel offers 3 conference and event rooms which have a size of 44 to 78 qm and a capacity of up to 50 delegates. The meeting rooms are illuminated by daylight and offer up-to-date technical equipment.

A brief history - Chronicle
The restaurant (Schuster Inn) was already mentioned in old Chronicles 350 years ago. Since then it is family-owned property. At the end of the 17th century, the Schuster Inn was owned by the Geier family which led the Inn with brewery, bakery and restaurant.
The Geier family had two daughters and one of them married the son of the neighboring Schuster family. He was brewer and therefore ready to take over the Schuster Inn from his father-in-law. This marriage enlarged the properties of the family through the farm with live stock, forests and fields.
Through decades the family-owned farm transformed itself to a family-owned business. At the turn-of-the-century the family decided to give up the bakery in order to focus on agriculture and the Schuster Inn.
The Schuster/Geier Family had one son, Alois, who became brewer as well – in line with the family’s tradition. Alois Schuster had three sons. One of his sons, Karl, who is the father of today’s owner Karl Schuster, a master craftsman in brewery, took over the brewery. He successfully produced beer for decades.
Committed to the well-being of the guests
Around 40 years ago, the brewery had to be modernized and enlarged. At that time, Karl Schuster senior, decided to quit the brewery because of the huge competitive pressure of big industrial breweries. The Schuster Inn became more important – due to growing tourism and the construction of the highway between Nuremberg and Munich.
The former warehouse, were the corn was stored, was rebuilt and became the new ballroom. Karl Schusters wife, Walburga, designed the first – at that time - basic hotel rooms for around 20 guests. In the rebuilt tavern, the family served warm and cold dishes, light meals and snacks. After several refurbishments the Schuster Inn was very well known not only to the local communities, but also throughout travellers who stopped by. The Schuster Inn was known for excellent food and franconian comfort – or as we say in Bavaria: “gemütlichkeit”.

Today, the Schuster family, now in the 4th generation with Karl and Elfriede Schuster, has a leading role in tourism. Karl Schuster jun., cook and butcher, trained at the master class and his talented wife, Elfriede Schuster, also a cook and managing director, transformed the Schuster Inn to the Hotel Schuster –with different restaurants, meeting rooms, pool, and 120 beds. Throughout the years it kept the traditional charm of the Schuster Inn. Now their son, Karlheinz, is in charge and more investments were made: several rooms and bath rooms were modernized, because the guests should always feel at home – also in the future years.
